How booking with insurance works

1

Open our Headway page

Headway is the service that handles insurance billing for the practice.

2

Enter your insurance

You will see an estimated cost before you book.

3

Choose a time

Monday to Thursday 6 to 11 PM and Sunday 12 to 11 PM.

4

Billed after

You are only billed after your session.

The cost shown is an estimate based on your plan. Your plan decides the final amount, which can depend on your deductible and whether you have met it this year.

Words you may see on your plan

  • Copay: a fixed amount you pay for a visit.
  • Deductible: the amount you pay each year before your plan starts to share the cost.
  • Coinsurance: the share of the cost you pay after the deductible is met.
  • In-network: a provider your plan has an agreement with. Visits usually cost less in-network.
  • Prior authorization: approval some plans need before certain services.
