Trauma care that moves at your pace
Post-traumatic stress can follow any event that overwhelmed you: an accident, an assault, a loss, military service, a frightening medical experience. Months or years later, the mind and body can still act as if the danger is present. Care helps, and it starts with being heard.

- Memories, dreams or flashbacks that arrive uninvited.
- Avoiding places, people or conversations that bring the event back.
- Feeling on edge, startling easily, trouble sleeping.
- Numbness, guilt, or feeling cut off from people you love.
Not everyone who has been through something frightening develops PTSD, and only a proper evaluation can tell. If some of this sounds familiar, that is reason enough to talk to someone.
How care works at Living Hope
Care begins with a psychiatric evaluation by secure video with Ottilia Sibanda, a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. You set the pace. You do not have to describe the event in detail at the first visit, or ever, unless you choose to.
From there, a plan is built around you. It may include therapy, medication, or both. Our approach is talk first. Medication is used thoughtfully when it is the right fit, and always with your say.
Why telehealth can help here
Many people with PTSD find it easier to open up from their own space, on their own terms, without a waiting room. Appointments Monday to Thursday 6 to 11 PM and Sunday 12 to 11 PM mean care can fit around work and family.
If you need help right now: if you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency room. Veterans can call 988 and press 1.
You do not have to carry it alone
Reach out when you are ready. Care begins with a conversation, at your pace.
